High-risk AI systems must bear CE marking to indicate conformity with the Regulation, affixed visibly, legibly, and indelibly.
Points clés
- Affixed to the system, its packaging, or its documentation
- For digital-only systems, a digital CE marking is used
- Followed by the notified body number where that body was involved
- Only affixed after conformity assessment and declaration are complete
- Not applicable to limited-risk transparency cases such as labelled AI photos
