Technical documentation

Providers must draw up technical documentation before the high-risk AI system is placed on the market and keep it up to date, demonstrating that the system meets the requirements of the Regulation.

- Minimum content is defined in Annex IV
- Must be complete before market placement and kept current
- Must let authorities assess conformity in a clear, comprehensible form
- SMEs may supply the information in a simplified form
- Retained and made available to national competent authorities on request
